A first highlight is the second hole, Par 3, from the tee 50m down to the double plateau green... If the green is missed, the view of Lac Léman gives comfort... Putting on this green is tricky because two plateaus form it. If you are on the upper right plateau, the two-putt becomes very difficult.

The next highlight is hole 5, another Par 3, which has to be played across the lake, on a green that is well defended by three bunkers on the left, right, and in front of the green. So you can't be too short, right, or left. Also, this green is a plateau green where putting is very difficult and requires reading the green well. My tip: Take your time before the round and go to the putting green, right next to tee 1, and putt your way in. Pace is the key!

The view of the shimmering blue Lake Geneva, like hole 2 or hole 5, calms the nerves during the challenging game on the Major course. To meet the Major requirements, some holes were optimized.

 Many different courses, lots of variety, it stays exciting the whole round. Many different elements: Water, sand, fast greens, dog-legs that keep the game exciting.

The rough is very thick, and often the fairways are lined with mature trees. Hitting fairways is advisable... And putt before the round to familiarize yourself with the fast greens.
How to play Hole 18:  Hole 18 plays as a Par 5, but at the Amundi Evian Championship, the hole for professionals plays as a Par 4, with 402m.

The hole can be played with a lay-up, or you can attack the green in two shots, but then a precise shot is required because water lurks in front of the green and a deep bunker on the right.
