Monticello Red is one of the great classic courses in Italy, opened in 1974. Made famous by the Italian Open Championships held here and by the meticulous maintenance and challenging lay-out in the fascinating parkland fairways lined with beautiful pine and deciduous trees. It is an enchanting place for golfers of all skill levels, offering long fairways and well manicured greens that provide an unforgettable playing experience.

Bucca 7: The 7th hole is considered one of the most challenging par-3 holes in Italy. It measures 183m from the yellow tee and features a well-protected green on a peninsula. The design of the hole makes approach shots difficult from any angle. It is crucial not to hit the ball too far to the left, as the ground in that area is always firm, causing the ball to slide into the water. Bucca 16: Par 4, hcp 2 The spectacular Par 4 is considered one of the most challenging holes in Italy. The drive needs to be spot-on because there's shimmering water on the left, and the second shot also requires precision to safely reach the small, undulating green. The entrance is very narrow and surrounded by a long bunker. Those who hit too far may end up in the water in the water hazard or in the bunker behind the green. |
