Hans-Peter Porsche's, grandson of legendary car pionier Ferdinand Porsche, realized his golf dream with the Alcanada Golf Course - designed by Robert Trent Jones  Jr.  - It is located in a wonderful spot in the bay of Alcúdia, north east on the island of Majorca. The scenic view would be nothing without the lighthouse on Alacanada Island...

Alcanada is rated as one of the favourite golf courses in Spain - The layout and the views of the sea are what make the course breathtaking.... Nearly from every hole, you can enjoy the sparkling blue waters of the Bay of Alcudia, which is perfect for taking a break from the game. However, there are several challenges to overcome: right at the beginning, you'll encounter the first hole, a dogleg to the right with a deep, natural gorge that needs to be cleared to reach the green.

If you're lucky, you might get one of their original Porsche buggies to accompany you on the round. These buggies, equipped with the latest GPS technology, are recommended as the course often has uphill and downhill sections.

Scenic, the only course with great seaview on Majorca on nearly every hole. Enjoy the challenging hilly course with pine trees embedded in the natural landscape of the Alcudia bay - a role model of the mediterranean. Every hole is different and you can look forward to an exciting round of golf.

HOW to PLAY
 Wide fairways invite longdrivers to hit, but be aware of streams and bushes, whitch flank the playground. The terrain is hilly and canyons are waiting to catch your ball as on hole 1. Steep slopes challenge your creative flair to escape hazards and reach the green.
Beware: the greens often not only fail to hold your ball, they are also hard to read... Enjoy!

Very good services on course and in the restaurant: Nice restaurant with sunny terrace and stunning view, and they serve my favourite dish: Pulpo gallego. Delicious!
